NOTICE IS HEREY GIVEN BY THE Board of Education of Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unit School District No 5, in the Counties of Ford, Champaign, Livingston, and McLean, State of Illinois, that a hearing to allow for input concerning seeking a waiver from the ISBE to allow an increase in the driver education fee not to exceed $250. The current fee and the fee for 2014 – 2015 will remain at $150. The intent of the waiver is to charge a fee that offsets the cost incurred by the district for this class. The Public Hearing will be part of the regular board meeting that will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Unit Office Board Room located at 307 N. Sangamon Avenue in Gibson City, Illinois, 60936 on July17, 2014.
