Good Morning. Today is Friday, December 1, 2017.

Geography Club members–Your scores on round one were fantastic!  Special congratulations to Student #12 who answered all 70 questions correctly!!  To see all of the current scores, check the poster next to Mrs. Ricks’ room.

Falcons Helping Others will be creating door decorations for the Annex Monday, December 4th from 3:30-4:30 at the Middle School.  Please sign up in the office and take a note if you plan to attend.  You need to be signed up by lunch time on Friday to attend.

Reminder – Volleyball officially starts with a meeting next Wednesday after school at 3:30 in Ms. Rubarts room and tryouts begin Thursday! All paperwork should be turned in by the meeting on December 6th! If you have any questions please see Ms. White.

Any student who would like to submit an entry for the DAR American history essay contest must give that to Mrs. Ricks by the end of the day on today.

Additionally, any students who would like to participate in the JAC poster, stamp design, essay, poem, or short story contest must submit their entries to Mrs. Ricks by Tuesday, December 5.

Tonight is also our next school dance. Admission will be $5 and the dance will start at 6:30 and end at 9.

Some 8^th grade students will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday before school starting in December. Any other students in 8^th grade can come to work on homework, get organized, or even simply study.

Any girl trying out for Volleyball should attend a meeting THIS FRIDAY, December 1st at 7:55am in the library.  You will be getting teacher recommendation forms, and optional volleyball apparel information.  If you cannot attend the meeting, you should pick up information from Ms. White during the day on Friday.

Additionally, any students who would like to participate in the JAC poster, stamp design, essay, poem, or short story contest must submit their entries to Mrs. Ricks by Tuesday, December 5.

Ms. Fairfield’s Life Skills Class will be having a bake sale tomorrow morning. All items will be 50 cents.

Those girls planning to try out for volleyball need to be sure all of their paperwork is turned in by the meeting today. This includes a physical for those that have not played a sport yet this year.

Students who are participating in Geography Club will begin taking the preliminary qualifying quizzes this week on Thursday at 7:30 AM in Mrs. Ricks’ room. If for some reason you are unable to attend on Thursday morning, it is very important that you see Mrs. Ricks in order to arrange a time during Enrichment or study hall to answer those questions.
