Good Morning Falcons!
Today is Monday, October 3.
Fall is here and so are the cooler temps! Students are encouraged to bring in sweats to wear for outside PE classes. The color of sweats doesn’t matter as they will be worn over PE uniforms.
There is open gym information on the counter in the office for any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys interested in basketball. Open gyms start today. See Coach Berry if you have any questions.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month, this month go out of your way to talk to someone you’ve never talked to before, or make a difference for someone you know may be carrying a lot in their own invisible backpack! #choosekindness
Student council members-your next meeting will be this Wednesday, October 5 at 7:30 AM in Mr. Hoogstraat’s room.
Next Friday is the Homecoming Football game and that means Grill on the Hill. The GCMS PTA is hosting a tailgate party here at the GCMS Middle School. Tickets are $10 each and include hot dog, chips, drink, and admission to the football game. If 100 students sign up, one lucky student will have his or her name drawn to throw a pie in the face of Mr. Bielfeldt.
Reminder to all 7th and 8th grade band members. The homecoming parade is Thursday, October 6. Be sure to take your instrument home on Thursday and be at the high school by 5:30.
Please stand and recite with me the Pledge of Allegiance.
