Welcome to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Middle School – Home of the FALCONS!

As principal, I am very excited about this year as our students and programs continue to grow. I am confident that this year will be the best ever!

GCMS Middle School is a wonderful place for students to grow educationally and socially, get involved, and have a meaningful middle school experience. The staff at GCMS Middle School is committed to high expectations for all students and providing the best possible learning environment. We offer fantastic programs for our students to participate in such as: Student Council, Band, Choir, Athletics, and other Student Clubs and Organziations.

We are here to help serve all of our students and to aid them in their success. This success is made possible for all students when there is a strong partnership between parents, faculty, and the school. As parents, you can assist us by being as active as possible in your child’s education. My door is always open to parents who have questions or concerns about their child’s education and experiences while here at GCMS Middle School.

We would also like to thank the community for all that you do in supporting our schools and supporting our efforts to best educate our students. Our goal continues to create a welcoming environment where educational opportunities can be developed by working together. All stakeholders have a say in what happens at GCMS Middle School.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I extend best wishes to you on a successful and fantastic 2016-2017 school year.

Respectfully,
Kyle Bielfeldt, Principal
