Good Morning Falcons. Today is Thursday, August 24, 2017.
Ms. White is giving students the chance to vote on the Red Ribbon Week theme for this year. During your lunch hour this week, please view the ribbon choices, make a tally mark on the one you like for your lunch hour and grade level. You should only vote ONE time!!
Any middle school student interested in being part of creative writing club OR newspaper club should come to an informational meeting in Ms. Maske’s room on Tuesday, August 29th at 7:40 am. The more the merrier!
All girls interested in trying out for basketball this season, sign-ups will be in the office this week. Tryouts will begin August 28. Please be sure all paperwork is turned in before that day.
With tomorrow’s first football game of the year vs. PBL, Mr. Garard asked that we go over a few rules and expectations that all students in attendance need to follow.
- Do not bring balls into the game (footballs, basketballs, nerf, etc.) They will be confiscated if brought in.
- Do not throw any objects (kids will use bottles in place of footballs and throw them around). These can be even more dangerous than footballs.
- Do not chase each other or get physical with each other (tag and tackling get out of control around other spectators) There should not be reason to be running.
- STAY OFF of the tennis courts and from behind the big red shed. (we constantly have to chase kids off of the courts and from sitting on the nets)
- Stay away from the visitors seating/standing area (kids will walk the LOOP around the football field and track). Nothing good can come from our kids in the visitors area.
- Stay off of the softball bleachers.
Middle School Parents-The first middle school dance will be on Sept. 8th from 6:30pm-9pm. We are in need of some chaperones. If you are interested please email Torri Ferguson at [email protected] or call 217-784-8731. Thank you!
