Geography Club–The scores remain very close. Check the updated sign outside of Mrs. Ricks’ room. Study the countries of the world for the final preliminary quiz next week.
Newspaper Club–Be sure you have shared all of your articles with Mrs. Ricks by the end of the day today.
Those students planning on attending Falcons Helping Others next Tuesday should return their permission slip ASAP to Ms. White. Ms. White has two open spots for next week’s event. If you’re interested and can stay after school Tuesday until 5pm please talk to her!
The Student Council is teaming up with the Lee Lowery American Legion post for a Toy Drive. We are looking for toys or items for middle school age children. Items can be dropped off in the boxes located in the hallway directly across from the office until next Friday, December 9th.
The Student Council is sponsoring a food drive to help the Gibson City Food Pantry. Bring food items and cleaning items to your Enrichment class. The Enrichment with the most items will receive a special treat. Items must have a UPC code to count. Money donations count also. $1 equals one item. The food drive ends Friday, December 16.
Students, don’t forget to turn in your signed Miles of Smiles permission slips to office as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity to get free dental care at school, but we must have your permission slip to sign you up.
The next all school dance sponsored by the band and choir is tonight. Dance starts at 6:30 and admission cost is $5. So don’t blow it off, it’ll be to the max!!!
