The Gibson City Community Band will kick off its summer concert series on Thursday, June 1 at 7:30 pm at North Park. All concerts are under an hour and are free to attend! It’s a great activity that gets the family out of the house and best of all, it’s free! We play music from a variety of different genres and time periods. Old big-band jazz? We’ve got it. 80’s hits? We’ve got em. Theme from “JAG”? …Surprisingly, yes we’ve got it.
We’re also teaming up this year with the Chamber of Commerce and providing after-dinner music for the Fish Fry on June 15. Come eat between 5-6 and hear some great live music at 6:15.
