1. Pledge of Allegiance…
2. Congratulations to wrestlers Cole Maxey, Jared Trantina, Hayden Workman, Owen Duke, and Myelz Davis for competing well at regionals this past weekend and qualifying for sectionals. These wrestlers will compete in Mahomet this weekend for a chance to go to state! Good luck gentlemen.
3. Also congrats to both of our Scholastic bowl teams for wins last night.
4. Students don’t forget that all library fines have to be paid by next Thursday, March 13th in order to attend the dance on the 14th.
5. This Saturday, beginning at 12 pm, Moyer District Library is hosting a Divergent release party to celebrate the movie’s coming out. There will be trivia, crafts, games, and giveaways. The party ends at 2:00 and we will order pizza for those staying for the 2:30 showing of “Catching Fire.” Please call the library or come in to sign up. Anyone can attend either events.
6. Next Wednesday, March 12 the Student Councill will be selling hot chocolate during lunch periods for $1 per cup. All proceeds will go towards the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance.
7. Any 6th or 8th grader who was absent this week and needs to make-up any ISAT tests needs to report to the library at the conclusion of announcements. Please make sure you take a #2 pencil and your calculator.
Students, the library will be closed from 8:25 – 10:35 today. If you need to check out a book or pay a fine, please take care of that immediately.
