- Pledge of Allegiance…
- Data Wall… Congrats to all three grade levels for improving on the A’s, B’s, and C’s! 6th grade is at 82%, 7th grade is at 73%, and 8th grade is at 70%. And our tardy numbers are excellent again! Thank you for working hard to get to class on time. All three grade levels are over 90% with 8th graders leading the way at 96.6% on time.
- Today I want to issue a special congratulations to everyone for GCMS Middle School has won the Illinois State Board of Education Academic Excellence Award for the third year in a row. Less than 10% of the schools in the state win this award and you should be very proud.
- Students and Teachers please welcome and say hello to our guests from the Horizon School to Watch committee as they tour our school today.
- Joke of the day…The police have reported the theft of a shipment of file cabinets, document folders, and labeling machines… it is believed to have been the work of organized crime!
