- Pledge of Allegiance
- Today is our Teaching Tolerance Day along with our January kick-off assembly; therefore we will be following a 2:20 bell schedule today. You have all been assigned a particular disability that you must adjust to during 2 periods today. When it is your turn to experience a disability then you must go to the designated room to get your needed materials. 6th graders will go to the conference room, 7th graders to Mrs. Fairfield’s room, and 8th graders to Mrs. Deschepper’s room. When it is your turn to experience a disability you must also wear a sign which will indicate to your teachers and others what your disability is. Remember, if you need any kind of accommodations, it is up to you to speak up for yourself and get whatever help you need. Students using the wheelchair and crutches will be allowed to use the elevator when needed. At the end of your two period disability experience remember to go back to the designated room to turn in your sign and materials. This day is intended to simulate what it would be like to live with a disability – treat this day with dignity and respect!
- Parents!!! – Report cards will be coming home Friday!!!
