1. Pledge of Allegiance…
2. Summer Roesch won the Prairie Center Red Ribbon Poetry contest! Part of her prize for winning is a pizza party for her class as well as a couple other prizes. The poem will also be made into bookmarks. Congrats Summer!
3. Our first Spirit Day will be next Thursday, October 23. The theme is “Think Pink” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear something pink to honor those who have battled breast cancer.
4. Moyer District Library is having a pumpkin decorating program this Monday, from 6 to 7 pm. Teens are invited to come to design a pumpkin with some very neat techniques. We’d like for you to stop in or call us to register for the program but it’s not completely necessary. The pumpkins and the decorating are free.
5. “Reminder to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys going out for basketball that there is a meeting after school Friday from 330-5 in Coach Berry’s room. Please make arrangements to attend this meeting and make sure your rides are here to pick you up by 5:00. See Coach Berry if you have any questions.”
6. Congratulations to our music students who made the All-District Band or Choir. This is the equivalent to winning Sectionals in a sport. Congratulations to Shannon Spangler, Darrin Brown, Jalen Cail, Gracie Conover, Gabby Dammkoehler, Dani Eckerty, Sydney Funk, Susan Harmet, Abby Harper, Lily Jacobson, Katie Kamman, & Elyssa Phillips.
