Remember to bring a donation to add to the collection boxes for the Military and the paper and food items for the Food Pantry.

There is a signup sheet in the office for a fan bus for Saturday’s football game.  The cost to ride is $5.00 which includes admission to the game.

The Variety Show is Friday beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.  Come and support your friends.

FCA will meet Friday morning at 7:30 in Mr. Ertel’s room. All students are welcome.

There will be a meeting for anyone playing basketball that is not currently in football after school Friday in Coach Tompkins room.

Alcohol is the most commonly used substance of abuse among young people in the United States and when you’re underage it puts your health and safety at risk.  Alcohol plays a role in the deaths of over 4,300 young people under the age of 21.  Of those deaths, the leading cause is car crashes at over 1,500 a year.  Other negative consequences related to underage drinking include increased risk for physical and sexual assault, many types of injuries, increased risk for cancer, increased risk for drug abuse, and diseases such as alcoholism where addiction to alcohol causes distress and harm to the body.  For more information about the negative impacts of alcohol or other drugs please visit teens.drugabuse.gov and if you or someone you love has a problem with drugs seek help.  To find drug treatment programs near please call 1-800-662-HELP.
