Remember to bring a donation to add to the collection boxes for the Military stationed in Afghanistan, and the paper and food items for the Food Pantry.
Knitting for a cause will begin after school Wednesday in the library. Please contact Mrs. Massey or Mrs. Rodriguez if you have any questions.
Mrs. Nuss is still looking for a few volunteers to help out at the Elementary School Family Night on Thursday from 5:45 to 7:15. Please stop by to see Mrs. Nuss if you can help!
There is a signup sheet in the office for a fan bus for Saturday’s football game. The cost to ride is $5.00 which includes admission to the game.
A representative from Southern Illinois – Edwardsville will be here Wednesday. Sign up to visit at the Guidance Office.
There will be a meeting for juniors during advisory on Wednesday in the Commons. Practice SAT scores will be handed back at that time.
The Variety Show is Friday beginning at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Come and support your friends.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, more than 90 Americans die after overdosing on opioids every day. Opioids include illegal drugs such as heroin as well as prescription painkillers such as fentanyl, vicadin, and hydrocodone. These highly addictive prescription opioids are becoming an increasing problem in society today. Emergency room visits and deaths have quadrupled in the past 15 years. Project Ignition will be having a Red Ribbon Week trivia contest today during Advisory. Questions will be read after announcements. Prizes will be given to the first advisory to send Mr.Hambleton the correct answer.
