Parkland will be administering the Placement Exam for seniors and next year’s dual credit students on the morning of Tuesday, April 25th here at GCMS. All students planning on taking the Placement Exam must have applied and been accepted to Parkland. Seniors must sign up outside of the Guidance Office. Dual credit students should check next year’s tentative class rosters outside of the Guidance Office and speak to Mr. McDevitt if there are any questions.
Seniors: the local scholarship application is now available on the Guidance web site.
Attention seniors: Please see Mr. Tompkins to vote for Prom court.
Bus assignments for prom are beginning. We will be taking 2 charter buses and the mini bus. If your group would like to have the exclusive opportunity to travel in the mini bus, please let Mrs. Frashier know today or tomorrow.
Volunteer and community service opportunities are available with Gibson Food Pantry and Gibson City Recycling. Volunteers are needed for the electronics recycling event on Saturday morning, April 22nd. See Mr. Augspurger or Ms. DeSchepper for details.
Gibson City Youth Baseball and softball league is looking for people who would be interested in umpiring games for them this summer. The majority of the games will take place on weeknights and Saturdays. Those who umpire will be paid on a per game basis. If you are interested, please sign up in the office by Tuesday, April 18th. You need to sign-up even though you may have umpired in the past.
