Seniors – remember to pack a lunch for yourself for the field trip Thursday. If getting one from the cafeteria, you must put that request in before Thursday to have it ready for you.
On Thursday all freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be participating in school wide testing. Freshmen will be taking the Explore test, sophomores will be taking the Plan test, and the juniors will be taking the Practice ACT. Testing will last all morning. Lunch that day will consist of a regular school lunch. The menu will be hamburgers or chicken sandwiches prepared on the grill by Chef Garard and Chef Allen, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw and a cookie. NO Pizza Hut available that day. Regular school lunch prices are in effect. After lunch, all students will participate in trivia contests, t-shirt designing for homecoming and a movie. Mrs. Meyer will be providing kettle corn for the movie. Please look for schedules posted throughout the building for details on the day’s events.
Judson University will have a representative at GCMS on Wednesday. A Eureka College rep will be here on Friday. Seniors and juniors may pick up a hall pass at the Guidance Office. Classroom teachers will sign with their permission for you to attend.
Homecoming dress code forms need to be returned to Mrs. Funk or Miss Riley by September 22nd.
Stop by the office and sign up to play on the girls Powder Puff football teams or the boys Powder Puff volleyball teams during Homecoming week. Please sign up by Wednesday.
A Jostens Rep will be here on Friday during lunch and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. to take all class jewelry orders. Please bring a $60.00 deposit or check the packet for 3 payment options. Please contact Jostens with any questions.
Open gym will be this afternoon and tomorrow from 3:30 to 5 in the gym.
