Seniors: there will be a parent meeting on tomorrow, at 6:00 p.m. in the high school media center. We will discuss the parent’s role in your graduation planning, the college application process and preparation for the workforce.
The preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is available to 10th and 11th grade students. Students should have parents check with their employers to see if it is required. There is a $15.00 fee. Interested students should sign up at the Guidance Office.
Are you interested in performing in the Variety Show this year? We are about a month away from Variety Show auditions, so now is the perfect time to start thinking of ideas for the performance. We will need songs, skits, dances and an emcee or two for the evening so there is something for everyone. Start preparing now and see Miss Broaddus with any questions.
Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois College will have representatives at GCMS on Monday. Juniors and seniors can pick up a hall pass at the Guidance Office. You must have your classroom teacher’s permission to attend.
Homecoming court picture will be taken tomorrow at noon. Please meet by the office.
Homecoming dress code forms will be passed out in advisory. These need to be returned to Mrs. Funk or Miss Riley by September 22nd.
