Ford County Special Olympics Bowling to Begin 2016 Season

The 2016 season of Ford County’s Special Olympics Bowling is ready to roll and practices will begin soon.

Each practice will include three to four games.  Each athlete will need to attend practices in order to have a 15-game average by mid-July in order to register for the Area 8 Bowling tournament at the end of August.

Athletes, volunteers, and family members are all welcome to attend. Forms will be available for those who still need to sign up to participate or volunteer. The local chapter will pay for the games and shoe rental. However, the bowling alley does not allow outside food or drink, so everyone is encouraged to bring a few dollars if they wish to purchase refreshments.

Location and times of practice will be determined later and participants will be notified.
