Band students in grades 5-12 will be performing at the annual Double Donation Dinner Concert on Sunday, February 22 beginning at 4:15pm at the high school. Letters have been passed out to all band students grades 5-12. The letter can be found here. The dinner works like this…we ask that you donate money, in advance, so we can purchase food for the dinner. We use your donations to buy the food for the dinner. Even if you don’t donate, we hope you’ll come to the high school on the 22nd to hear your favorite young musician perform in hopes that you will stay and enjoy a meal of salad, pizza, a drink, and dessert. The catch is that we ask for a $5 donation for your meal, one that you have already helped pay for…thus the name. Food will be served starting at 4:15. 5th grade band will play at 4:30. 6th grade band will play at 4:50. 7th/8th grade band will play at 5:10. The HS band will play at 5:35. The raffle drawing will take place around 6pm. Come hear your favorite band student perform and help support the band program by staying to eat some great food! |
