Last week, students and staff at the Middle School participated in Red Ribbon Week to promote awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Throughout the week there were two dress up days, lunch talks regarding the dangers of underage alcohol use, rewards to wearing the red ribbon each day, and the most popular of the week; a door decoration contest! Each enrichment created their own idea on how to decorate their classroom door that included the theme, ‘Respect Yourself: Be Drug Free,’ along with at least one statistic regarding drug and alcohol use. The students did an AMAZING job with the doors!
