Dear Parents,
You and your children are invited to the Scholastic Book Fair in the Elementary School Library. This will be the only book fair hosted by our library this year.
The Book Fair will be open in the Elementary School Library during these times:
Monday, January 25 8:05 am – 4:30 pm
Tuesday, January 26 8:05 am – 4:30 pm
Wednesday, January 27 8:05 am – 6:30 pm
Thursday, January 28 8:05 am – 4:30 pm
Friday, January 29 8:05 am – 3:30 pm
CLOSED EACH DAY FROM 11:15 – 12:15
I close daily from 11:15-12:15. This is my only break during the book fair and allows for a lunch and time to complete necessary library tasks and school errands.
Students may visit the book fair during their library time and open hours. Parents are welcome during open hours, but please be aware that I have library classes throughout the day. There may be times while classes are present that I am unable to help you.
Friday, January 29 is the final day of the book fair. We will close at 3:30 that day. I must repack all book fair items and complete reports that evening.
Cash, Checks, Debit Cards and Credit Cards Accepted
We accept cash and checks made out to GCMS Elementary School. Scholastic Book Fairs provides a machine that allows us to accept both debit and credit cards. We are required to change sales tax.
As in the past, teachers have been invited to fill out a Wish List of books they and their students would enjoy having for their classroom. These lists will be on display during the Book Fair. If you would like to purchase a book as a gift for your child’s classroom, please feel free to do so. Just ask me about the Wish List when you visit.
The funds from this fair will be used to purchase new books for the library.
