Race begins at 9AM
RACE COURSE
The course starts and ends at the Gibson City North Park located at the corner of 13th and Church Streets. It is run on the streets of Gibson City
PARKING
Is available at the park and on the street around the park.
ENTRY FEE
$25.00 early bird (includes a T-shirt); $30 after October 13 (T-shirt not guaranteed)
No refunds will be given to registered participants.
PACKET PICKUP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Begins at 8AM at the North Park Pavilion.
WATER STATION
ill be available about half way through the race and at the finish line.
RESTROOMS
ill be open at the North Park at 8AM
TIMING
Will be run SJO 5K ([email protected] ) This is a bib chip timing system.
REFRESHMENTS
Such as water, fruit , granola bars, etc. will be provided after the race at North Park.
AWARDS CEREMONY
Will be following the race after all participants have finished. There will be awards for the overall female winner, overall male winner and first and second place in each age category. All walkers will receive a participation ribbon.
COSTUMES
Will be judged before the race and awards given during the awards ceremony so COSTUMES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED
