GCMS HIGH SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN

Attention Red Army members:  the magazine sale ends tomorrow.  Please get all orders into Miss Riley or Mr. Tompkins by the end of the day Tuesday.  Checks should be made to GCMS.
Attention seniors:  There will be a MANDATORY meeting Tuesday for all seniors in the commons during advisory.  We will be discussing senior privileges.
If you are interested in being a part of the new and improved student council, please come to an informative meeting in room 209 at 7:45 Wednesday.
Tuesday will be our bake sale to help Tyler Brucker and his family.  The staff will have a lot of treats for sale for $1.00 each. 
Red Ribbon Week is coming to GCMS the week of October 29th thru November 2nd.  We will prepare for the week with a pumpkin decorating contest during advisory.  Each advisory will decorate a pumpkin with a “Drug Free” or “Traffic Safety Message” or theme.  You will have Monday and Tuesday to decorate your pumpkins.  They will be on display in the front entry-way for Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Look for other Red Ribbon activities to come during the actual week.
Shooting and hitting open gyms after school this week will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the high school.  There will not be an open gym on Thursday.
Any boy planning on playing basketball needs to attend the meeting Tuesday during advisory in Coach Tompkins room.  Please report to advisory before going to the meeting.
A reminder to those interested in working on the old tractor, The Tractor Club will be working after school today.
There will be a short meeting in Coach Carter’s room on Wednesday after school for anyone interested in wrestling this year.
Benedictine College at Springfield will be here Wednesday.  Quincy University will be here next Tuesday.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office to meet with their representatives.
Seniors should apply to the college of their choice by Halloween to meet the priority deadline.  This includes Parkland and Heartland.
