Auditions for GCMS’s production of “The Sound of Music” will be held on Monday, December 3^rd.  Interested students should pick up an audition packet and sign up for a time on the chorus announcement board.  Optional practices will be held for any students interested in learning the audition material on Thursday, November 15^th at 3:30 p.m. and Friday, November 16 at 7:30 a.m. in the music room.  Please see Miss Broaddus with any questions.

Attention sophomores:  Deadline for wreath sales is tomorrow.  Remember the winning team gets a pizza party.  Top seller from the other groups gets to join the party also.

Juniors and seniors:  A representative from Western Illinois University will be here tomorrow.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office to meet with them.

Sophomores – you will be testing tomorrow morning.  You should report to first hour for attendance before going to your assigned rooms.  A-K in the commons. L-Schaub in room 204 (Health).  Spires – Z in the library.  Bring #2 pencils and a calculator.  You will not be allowed to work on any homework or reading during the test.  You will be returning to class in the middle of 4^th hour.

The Interact Blood Drive will be Monday, November 26, the day we come back after Thanksgiving.  If you are 16 years or older and wish to donate, please see Miss Riley for a permission form and appointment.  The drive runs from 2^ndhour through 6^th hour.

If you are a band student who sold items for the cookie dough fundraiser, you need to pick up your orders next Monday between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.  in the main entryway of the elementary school.

Let’s get into the Thanksgiving Spirit Falcons!  Student Council announces the Fall Spirit Days:

Monday, November 19^th will be Football Frenzy Day.  Wear gear to support your favorite college football team.  Tuesday, November 20^thwill be Fall Class Colors Day.  Paint the school red, orange, brown and gold.  Freshmen – brown; sophomores – orange; juniors – gold; seniors – red and faculty purple.
