Beginning band is going very well! We have learned how to assemble our instruments and we are working to learn our first five notes!

Remind your student that if they need tips on how to practice or how to assemble the instrument, they should look at pages 2 and 3 in their book. 
On the back cover, there are instructions on how to access the FREE online videos which will help with practicing.

To keep up in class, students are encouraged to practice at home for 10 minutes, 3 days a week.

Our first band concert will be Sunday, December 16 at 4:00pm in the HS gym.

 

5th Grade Band meets from:
      11:50am - 12:20pm

The first few weeks of band will have a sporadic schedule. Once we get into November, I will send home a paper calendar each month. The schedule below will be our usual schedule for 5-day weeks.

MON - trumpets
TUE - percussion
WED - flute, trombone, baritone
THU - clarinet, saxophone
FRI - full band
