Congratulations to Payton Kean for his selection as Student of the Month for February. Payton has been a standout on the field (and mat) as well as in the classroom. He has been a captain to our football and wrestling teams and was an all conference selection in both sports. He's a member of our National Honor Society, Interact and Project Ignition organizations and was named an Illinois State Scholar. As several teachers observed in the nomination, Payton is the ultimate team player and can always be counted on to "be there." He is still narrowing his college choices but intends to study Biology as a pre-med major. Payton is the son of Justin and Erin Kean and was nominated by Mr. Augspurger.
