The annual Variety Show is about a month away! I am so excited for everyone to see all the hard work the choirs as well as individual acts have been putting in. Please see the attached list of acts, and if you are on it, be sure to get a paper and sign up for a rehearsal time on the choir announcement board. Everyone mark your calendars for Friday, November 6th at 7:00!

The schedule for the PBL Tournament on Sept 19th is now available.
It can be found at http://www.pblunit10.com/jeo/vbpair2015.pdf.
We would like a couple parent volunteers to help organize lunch for the team.
Typically a cooler of lunch meat/sandwiches is the easiest direction to go. Please let me know if you would like to help with that.
The Bus will leave GCMS at 8:00 that morning

Sisters by Raina Telgemeier
F / TEL All of Raina’s books were checked out after the first day of library classes. Right away I knew I wanted to read both Sisters and Smile. While I enjoyed both, Sisters was my favorite. I liked the road trip and liked the flashbacks along the way. I’m with Raina: I would not want to ride in a car with a snake! Great for: 5-6th graders, especially those with sisters. |
