School Board Vacancy

GCMS Community,

It is with great appreciation that I announce the resignation of GCMS School Board Member Steve Swearingen.  Mr. Swearingen has resigned for personal reasons after a long standing commitment to service for the GCMS School District and community.   Thank you, Mr. Swearingen for your time and effort.  

As a result of this action we have a Board Member position available immediately.  If you are a resident of GCMS School District and have interest in service please submit a letter of interest with applicable qualifications to Board President Josh Johnson at [email protected], or by dropping your letter off at the GCMS District Office at 307 N. Sangamon Ave. Gibson City.   All interested candidates should submit their interest by March 1, 2019 for consideration.
